Maslow, Will

Biography: 

(1907–2007), white lawyer; editor; principal trial examiner of NLRB (1937–43); Mitchell’s superior as FEPC’s director of field operations (July 1943–June 1945); later general counsel, director of Commission on Law and Social Action; finally executive director of American Jewish Congress (1960–72). A native of Kiev, he participated in a 1946 conference with Labor Secretary Schwellenbach on ending discrimination by USES offices. Five years later, he was a member of a strategy group working for Senate rules changes.
