Biography:
(1915-75) FEPC examiner, Detroit (1943), Region XII (1944–45); previously junior administrative assistant, Labor Division, OPM. During anti-FEPC debates in Congress, Representative Malcolm Tarver alleged that his real name was Jack Burton Burkowitz and that he had had “his nose operated on and his name changed in Pennsylvania.”
