Subject: Conversation with Robert Goodwin,
Executive Director, War Manpower Commission
September 26, 1945
On the above date I called Mr. Goodwin for the purpose of arranging an informal meeting with him to discuss our new relationships. He stated that he would not be in a position to talk as well this week on plans as he would be in the coming week.
The War Manpower Commission is operating as formerly although it is within the Department of Labor. Mr. Goodwin assured me that the operating agreement between FEPC and WMC remains in effect.1
I shall have further conversations with Mr. Goodwin at a later date.
