Aircraft Corporation at Fort Worth, Texas

April 12, 1945

At my request the War Department addressed the attached letter to Mr. Ross concerning the status of a program for upgrading Negroes at the Consolidated Vultee Aircraft Corporation in Fort Worth, Texas.1

I presume you will wish to have the appropriate member of the Legal Division consider this communication in connection with the handling of the case. I believe it would also be appropriate to have a brief conference on this matter at your convenience.
