Denham, Robert Newton

Biography: 

(1885–1954), lawyer; special counsel to the comptroller of the currency (1933–34); trial examiner (1938–47) and counsel general (1947–50), NLRB. Labor leaders considered him to be antilabor and thus called for his removal from the NLRB. Truman requested and received his resignation in September 1950. Mitchell said he reportedly had strong antiblack bias.
